Module 2 – The Penetration Testing Engagement

Module 2 covers the overall process of a Penetration Test – from pre-engagement to reporting. A Penetration Test is a complex process of identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities in a system.

It covers the following:

• Pre-engagement – including Objectives – Timeline – Liabilities & Responsibilities – Allowed Techniques – Deliverables – Statement of Work
• Methodologies
• Reporting – Structure of Report
