This epic fail by ChatGPT happened only the other day, Saturday 19 July 2025.
I had the ChatGPT.com website open and for a laugh typed in something along the lines on what I’d seen on a rewatch of The Fast Show recently. The clip where the astronaut ends up on a window ledge with someone about to jump off it.
So I asked ChatGPT.com “Where am I? What day is it? Who’s the President?” paraphrasing what the astronaut had said in the clip.
As you can see from the screenshot below, ChatGPT got the date right – but not the President – it said Joe Biden is the sitting President. Erm…
