Project Description

Project – Storythings – American Interior – iOS App Testing & Android App Testing

In March 2014, I worked on the American Interior app project with Storythings, testing both the iOS App and the Android App. The American Interior app is part of a multi-platform ‘investigative tour’ by The Super Furry Animals’ Gruff Rhys, which includes an album, a book, a film, a tour, and the app. The app itself is based on one of the key songs of the album – 100 Unread Messages – and the app tells the story through 100 messages, over interactive maps, using video, audio and text excerpts from the book.

During the project, I worked with both iOS and Android development teams, to build a Test Plan, perform testing and provide feedback on the app. A mix of TestFlight and Dropbox was used for app distribution. Testing was performed on a mix of devices, including iPhones, iPads and Android tablet.
