Project Description

I am working with Purple Decks as an independent tester of their iOS Apps and Android Apps.

Purple Decks create Apps for smartphones, software for all kinds of connected devices and cloud services.
Some of the technologies I’ve tested have included GPS, which has required testing ‘on location’, NFC payments and IoT devices linked to apps.

iOS App Testing with Purple Decks

Tests are on the full range of iOS devices – iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch
Tests have included Exploratory Testing, Functional Testing, Installation Testing
Results recorded in JIRA issue tracking system
For larger projects, I’ve also created Test Plans in Excel
iOS App delivery is via TestFlight and sometimes Dropbox

Android App Testing with Purple Decks

Tests are on the full range of Android devices – Smartphones and Tablets
Tests have included Exploratory Testing, Functional Testing, Installation Testing
Results recorded in JIRA issue tracking system
Android App delivery is via Crashlytics and other methods
