iOS 8 Release

Today – the 17th September 2014 – sees the release of iOS 8, which was introduced at the WWDC back in June. iOS 8 will come installed on the the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, while also being available as an update to existing iOS users. (Full range below)

iOS 8 Upgrade – Space requirements

• On my iPhone 5, it said it needed 4.7 Gb of free space for iOS 8 install (not installing it yet anyway!)
• On my iPad Air, it said it needed 6.9 Gb of free space for iOS 8 install – Install now completed and there’s over 6 Gb of free space now
