My iPhone 13 screen froze recently and wasn’t accepting any touch inputs at all. The screen displays fine, but no input recognised. I tried the usual combo of buttons but that ends up with screen of options where you have to be able to touch/select the relevant option e.g. restarting it, so that wasn’t working.
Even connecting it via a USB lead to my iMac, didn’t help, as it wasn’t being recognised by the iMac. I was hoping to use iMazing to force a Restart but the iPhone wasn’t recognised as being connected.
The only way I found to fix it was to let the battery run out and then charge it again, thus forcing a restart. Since this restart, it now works perfectly/as before. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue!
